This character is a Star Wars OC.

Kaasti Det is a Togruta female. She is fairly short and of stout, thick build; fit and muscular, but not particularly strong -- she's much more agile. She usually carries a force pike openly (well, how are you going to hide one of /those/?) and a small vibroknife and a holdout blaster somewhere on her person. By default, she's dressed in brown leather; shortish pants and an ill-fitting shirt. Det does not wear shoes, and in fact makes an effort to avoid them whenever possible.

While not generally openly hostile, she's possessed of a sour, guarded, and not especially friendly demeanor. Even with people she likes, her speech tends to be very terse, and she communicates a good deal by body language or specific gestures. She's severely lacking in basic etiquette (not to be confused with a lack of social skills) and has messy, disgusting eating habits, as well as tendencies to pick her nose, bare teeth, growl, and/or bite.

Det is Force-sensitive. Having been unaware of this fact for almost her entire life, she's untrained, and has a number of weak Force powers she can mostly use reflexively at best. Curiously, one of the expressions of her Force-sensitivity seems to be a 'poison immunity' -- though this includes things like alcohol, spice, most disease, and even painkillers. She takes advantage of this along with the commonly-held (and untrue) belief that Togruta are venomous, often spreading poison on her teeth in case she ends up biting someone.

She has a history of work on Nar Shaddaa until finding her way into the employment of some very minor Arkanian noble.

Det primarily speaks Huttese, but also knows Basic, Togruti, Bocce, and a very small amount of lekku-sign (mostly rude gestures).

[A few notes regarding Togruta, for those who don't know:

-Togruta are carnivores and, despite nobody drawing them this way for some reason, canon says they have sharp teeth. Det has sharp teeth.
-Their horns give them a sort of passive-echolocation/spatial awareness thing, another means by which they sense their surroundings. Accordingly, Det tends to rely on hearing maybe more than sight.
-Apparently the stripes on their lekku can, occasionally, change vividity with emotion. This is a small thing that popped up pretty much once ever in canon, so I run with it as best I can ><]
